If Scottish mountain flying is what you’re after, then Dundonnell is a truly amazing place to fly.  In front of you is the sea, with spectacular views to the outer Hebrides, behind you An Teallach and the remote Strathnasheallag and Fisherfield Forests.

There a numerous launch options here, but good flights have been made from the terraces beneath Sail Mhor (around 350m above sea level).  The easiest approach is to follow a decent path which leaves the A832 at Ardessie (grid ref 205411, 889554) and to break out west, crossing the Allt Airdeasaidh once the path begins to level out.
